Coaching Philosophy

Coach Jalan believes that tennis is the hardest sport to fully master. Consequently, he is patient, flexible, and understanding. No matter what his players’ goals are, he works as hard as possible to help them achieve them.

About Jalan

Coach Jalan picked up his first racket when he was 7, and started taking tennis more seriously in middle school. That led him to play varsity high school tennis, and eventually landed an opportunity to practice with the team at Tyler Junior College. His team at Tyler Junior College earned a National Championship! After college, Coach Jalan pivoted from serious player with coaching as a side gig, to serious coach with playing as a side gig.

Along with being an avid tennis enthusiast, Coach Jalan enjoys other hobbies such as music, making/styling clothes, working out, and showering his friends and family with endless love.
